Part Two "Today Things Are Going To Change"

I then went on to read in Hosea, the Lord did not give me specifics on chapter or verse, so I read it all through. WOW!
There is much being said here in Hosea, as I said I would continue on, I will do my best to narrow this down…
Did you know that the name Hosea means salvation? What we do know is he was called to marry a prostitute? Is it not a fine depiction we being called to salvation then go off and Marry the world; and embrace the harlotry there of? It is not the intention we start out with, yet it slowly finds complacent residence in our hearts. I am stepping on my own toes here.
Hosea 4; OUCH, can I say that? This all sounds too familiar. Verse 1and 2 “Listen to the word of the Lord O sons of Israel (America), for the Lord has a case against the inhabitants of the land, Because there is no faithfulness or kindness OR knowledge of God in the land. There is swearing, deception, murder, stealing, and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed. Verse 7b; “I will change their glory into shame” We were at one time a Glorious Nation, our America, founded on the principals of God; what has turned our hearts away? I would now say that our glory has been turned to shame. Why not read on in Hosea chapter 4. Look at all there is to compare.
If that is not enough let me go on Hosea 5: 4 “Their deeds will not allow them to return to their God. For a spirit of Harlotry is within them, and they do not know the Lord”; you can look all around and see this, people embracing the sin of the world.
I find that I can not stress enough; WE MUST TURN OUR FULL ATTETION UNTO THE LORD, to remember the love of our youth in Salvation, and embrace fully that passion. Who of us will have ears to hear? Hosea 6: 1-3 “Come let us return to the Lord. For He has wounded us, but He will bandage us; He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day; that we may live before Him. “So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD.”
This will be the crux of the New Year. “So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD! Hosea 6:6 “For I delight in LOYALTY, rather that sacrifice, and in Knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” Where do your Loyalties lie?
In the beginning of the last year I saw a vision, of which I am not a seer. I saw a Mighty Angle strike his sword into the earth, and the division that came was a deep chasm= a marked interruption of continuity. This definition is so very appropriate, in many ways. The Lord will not allow the continuity of sin. This vision was also a representative of the division of the wheat and the chaff. PEOPLE, choose now….
For as I read on the time is now upon us. Old English is prevalent in my vocabulary, at this juncture. Whoa, Whoa, Whoa.
Amazing Grace; “For now I see”… With our vision clear and vertically adjusted we will be amazed. Yet we are here for a purpose, those that are lost in sin and doomed to Eternal separation, will we pass them bye? This New Year must be about them. For their iniquity has been uncovered, and their evil deeds have been seen, they have dealt falsely, they enter as thieves, and bandits that raid all outside. They DO NOT consider in their heart that the Lord remembers all, their wickedness, and they are before His face, and they are all adulterers. Though their pride testifies against them; they have not returned to the Lord their God, nor have they sought Him for all this. Hosea chapter 7.
Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. They have set up Kings, (presidents) but not by ME; they have appointed princes (officials) but I did not know it. With their silver and gold (money) they have made idols for themselves that they might be cut off. “My anger burns against them!” How long will they be incapable of innocence?” America= “They are now a vessel in which no one delights.” “So let us know, let us press on to know the LORD.”
People there are still6 chapters to go. Must I continue, will we tune our ears to hear?
I implore you, hear the call. Embrace His Amazing Love and His Amazing Grace. Press on to know the Lord, to know Him deeply and Intimately.

“Today Things Are Going To Change” This I believe will be my quote from this time on; into the New Year.

Very apropos and sounds a lot like the state we are living in and for what I feel the Lord is saying to me. In pondering many scriptures came to mind,
Jeremiah 39: 15-18
Psalms 81
Joshua 4 and 5
Hosea

In Jeremiah 39:16-17a “Behold I am about to bring My words upon this city for disaster and not for prosperity; and they will take place before you on that day, “BUT… I will deliver you on that day,” declares the Lord.”
Why was Jeremiah rescued; because he trusted in the Lord? Our trust MUST be in Him (Christ Jesus) alone, we have been so long on our own path and in our own destination. Yes we have loved the Lord, but taken so much for granted. A wake up call is coming upon us, we will see things we have never seen, yet we will also see his Amazing Grace, for those of us that choose, to follow His ways. As I read on in Psalms It is again stating that the people need to listen or be turned over to the stubbornness of their own heart, and to walk in their own devices. This is Not a good thing; “Left to our own devices?”
In Psalms 81 “I the Lord am your God”, is He? He is mine, yet how often being here in America do I pamper my wants above my need, my NEED for more of Him, and more of His ways? Even the lowest on the economical scale here in America is pampered. Sorry but so very true. He calls to us, and woos us with an everlasting Love, “BUT My people did not listen to My voice, So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart, to walk in their own devices.” Time after time we see the tragedy in this… “Oh that My people would listen to Me, that Israel would walk in My ways!”
Joshua chapters 4 and 5; The Lord is calling us to be a people set apart. To have our hearts circumcised; to be cut off from the world, different from the norm. After all we are not of this world. At least we are not called to be of this world.
As I was reading I found this part interesting; in the fact that it was after they crossed over into promise then they were called to be circumcised. So it challenged this thought in me, and I challenge this thought to you also. We are crossing into a new era= (a date or an event forming the beginning of any distinctive period), so it is time to again have our hearts circumcised unto God. For the generation before is old and gone, those now crossing into 2010; the army of the Lord need to have our hearts circumcised, fixed and ready.
